Health MOT

When joining Leventhorpe Leisure Centre you will receive a one hour free health check carried out by one of our Wellbeing Personal Trainers who can support you with expert advice and guidance.

Your Health MOT will identify opportunities to improve you overall health, giving you what you need to make positive fitness, diet and lifestyle changes.

All our members undertake Health MOT when they join us. No other gym offers the same level of clinical testing and expert advice in one place.

Health MOT Measures

  • Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Resting heart rate
  • Waist to hip ratio
  • Cholesterol
  • Aerobic Fitness
  • Blood Pressure
  • Sugar Levels

During your Health MOT your Health Mentor or Wellbeing Personal Trainer will be able to give advice on your exercise regime, health concerns, existing injuries, alcohol use, stress levels and quality of sleep.

Follow-Up Health MOT

Following your free Health MOT, you will be given a full report of the health outcomes. We can use these results to track your progress against a bespoke set of fitness and lifestyle goals.

At Leventhorpe Leisure we believe you should have a follow-up health MOT every 3 months to ensure that your exercise programme is working.

It also helps you to monitor the effectiveness of your exercise regime and reassess your goals.

Also when signing up you will receive a 30 minute personal training taster session with one of our qualified Wellbeing personal trainers who can work with you to ensure that goals you had created from your Health MOT can be achieved and to:

  • Change your body composition
